When life begins to feel overwhelming...

When life begins to feel overwhelming, or it just seems like something isn’t working, it’s important to remember that you’re not alone. Sometimes the best way forward is to find a safe place free of judgement, where empathy and unconditional regard await. As a licensed marriage and family therapist, I will support you on your pathway to positive change.

Marriage and Family Therapist

The Power of Human Connection

In my practice, I help individuals, couples, families from all backgrounds heal and grow by building trust rooted in the power of human connection. I have worked with a diverse range of ages, sexual orientations, and ethnicities and also offer evaluations for surrogates, donors, and intended parents considering surrogacy. If you’re seeking help with a personal challenge, have a family or relationship conflict, or are exploring surrogacy, I encourage you to call for a consultation.

How I Help

Whether a client has come to see me about surrogacy or some other challenge, my goal is to help them heal by listening and connecting. I want to connect as humans who share the most important thing of all: trust.

Individual Therapy

Individual Therapy

Individual therapy sessions are opportunities for us to work together one-on-one to process whatever challenge you might be facing, whether it’s related to anxiety, self-esteem, intimacy, depression, anger, and LGBTQ issues.  We’ll move at the right pace for you as we build trust.

Family Therapy

Family Therapy

These sessions allow families to work through challenges related to dynamics, roles, and other problems in the family system. We’ll give each person opportunities to express themselves as individuals while working toward better overall stability and balance for the whole family.
Couples Therapy

Couples Therapy

These sessions invite couples to resolve conflicts within a relationship. Together, we’ll explore values systems and communication styles and clarify needs and expectations.

Surrogacy Groups

Surrogacy Groups

Are you interested in connecting with other people currently going through the surrogacy process? I offer separate support groups for surrogates and intended parents. These sessions enable you to share stories, questions, anxieties, and ideas in a safe setting. As a facilitator, I’ll give the group space to build community while also guiding our conversation, asking questions, and making sure everyone who wants to has a chance to share.

Military and Their Families

Families of active duty, reservists and retired service members face a wide range of traumas associated with combat, long separations, and frequent displacement. Therapy sessions for military families are designed to help individuals and families cope with depression, anxiety, readjustment, PTSD, and other mental health challenges.
